MUSE productions is one of Israel’s leading production houses specializing in the art of the documentary. The company was established in 1997 and is located outside of Tel Aviv. Muse is headed by Yahaly Gat, creator of feature length and short documentaries, corporate and image films. The company has produced numerous films for the Israeli television and for various international broadcasters.
Muse is deeply connected with Israeli production facilities, funding opportunities and is open to documentary ventures in Israel or abroad.

Breaking the Wall

Yahaly Gat, heading Muse productions, is a producer, writer and director of feature and television documentaries.
He studied at Tel Aviv University and graduated in 1984 as BFA of Film & TV studies. Since then he has been extensively involved in the Israeli TV and film industry.
Yahaly founded Muse productions in 1997 and since then produced documentaries such as – “Love Inventory” (winner best doc, Jerusalem FF, Berlin FF, screened on ARTE, PBS); “Blood Revenge” and “Body Exposures” (for the National Geographic Channel); “Men on Wheels”, “Living in Boxes”, “A Treasure in Auschwitz” (also as director); “As a Great River Flows” (best doc, Haifa FF) and ”Good Morning Israel”; the series “A Nation in Reserve”, and recently as director of a series about the Israeli legendary songwriter - Naomi Shemer.
Yahaly is currently a member of the Producers Union, a member of the Documentary Filmmakers Forum and recently running the “Docuvillage” mentorship initiative.
